With a strong international presence and ambitious growth plans, the company is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth across Latin America.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys developing markets, managing distributor networks and creating long-term business partnerships throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the sales strategy across the assigned Latin American markets.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing distributors and business partners.
- Identify and develop new distribution opportunities.
- Expand the company’s market presence throughout the region.
- Develop business within agricultural distribution, specialist retail and technical distribution channels.
- Build long-term partnerships with distributors, importers and key customers.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and prepare quotations.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs and industry events.
- Work closely with the export, marketing and product management teams at the company’s European headquarters.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports and market analyses.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets and contribute to the company’s long-term regional growth.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or distributor management.
- Experience within FMCG, agriculture, crop protection, horticulture, technical products or related industries is highly desirable.
- Experience managing distributors across multiple countries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Latin America.
- Valid driving licence.
